Naina Michaud recently relocated to the Los Angeles area to pursue her career in film and television. She booked a principal role in the movie, "Stags" (SAG modified Low Budget Feature), which completed filming in NYC in October 2008. She is currently featured on the cover and throughout the Journey's catalog (Holiday 2008).

Her first television appearance was on a Forensic Files episode titled "Smoking Out a Killer" which aired on truTV on Friday, August 29th, 2008 at 9PM EST !   Earlier this year, Naina co-starred in a short film which premiered at the Second Annual Vine Shorts Fest in Santa Monica, CA on November 2, 2008!  Visit the Official Movie Site of When Beliefs are Questioned for trailer and more!

She's appeared in over 40 National and Regional commercial and print spots. Past credits include an MTV public service announcement on mental health and TV promos for the USA, Lifetime, and Oxygen Networks as well as CBS 3. Naina is part of a major National print campaign for MetroPCS. She also participated in a major campaign, "Philly's More Fun", promoting Philadelphia Tourism. She has spent time as the lead singer/songwriter in the band, Polyandry. The band performed at Pheasant's Landing and more recently the 11th Annual Anderson House Seafood Festival, a fundraiser for women addicted to drugs and alcohol.  The festival brought in close to 5000 people over the course of two days!

Naina spends the rest of her free time training for road races (i.e.10Ks, half marathons), writing a novel, experimenting with the culinary arts, getting scuba certified, and learning Spanish.  

Earlier film work includes shorts such as "The Eye of Babylon"which appeared in the NY and LA International Independent Film and Video Festival in April 2004.

Naina's multi-ethnic look has enabled her to be cast under several different ethnicities including Caucasian, Hispanic, East Indian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Native American.

Naina graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a major in Management Science & Information Systems (MS&IS) and a minor in French.  She has four years of experience at a consulting firm working as an IT professional. Currently, she is working as a full-time actress in Film and Television.
